Leather Corsets and Bustier: a short history

As recently as the 1830's, the corset was thought of as a medical necessity. Being that women were the weaker sex, they needed the support of a laced corset to hold them up for any length of time, and girls from the ages of two or three began their lives being strapped in daily to a tight laced corset. Unfortunately for the women, by the time they reached their prime, they were unable to stand or sit upright for very long without getting the "vapors".

Today, men have grown to realize that there is nothing weak about women and the main functionality of a corset and bustier is to arouse! Our sexy leather corsets and bustier do just that! Made from top quality leather, our selection of leather corsets and bustier are guaranteed to spur many hours of indoor fun!

What is the difference between a bustier and leather corsets? A corset is designed to decrease the size of the waist, and is often done so by tightening the laces on the back in the midsection. A bustier on the other hand is more like an extended bra reaching down to the waist. A bustier will often have underwire to support the breasts, and decorative lacing down the front. Corsets and bustiers often mesh in design, as in a corset bustier, and can be made of many materials, such as satin, silk, or the original material, canvas. We prefer leather corsets and bustier!
