Sizing Considerations

Although the Internet has provided us with a bourgeoning global economy, societies have not yet agreed on many issues of standardization, a common standard of measurement being one.

We at Biker Leather ltd are primarily geared towards the U.S market, and as such, our manufacturing facilities use the standard U.S. sizing measurement of inches. If, for example, you wish to order our naked leather classic motorcycle jacket, you would determine your correct size by measuring the circumference of your chest at its thickest part. If it measures 40 American inches, then you would want to order a size 40. If the jacket is sized as L, XL etc., you would refer to our handy size chart to convert your inches to the proper fit.

Being as we fully understand that not every global customer would have access to an American inch tape measure, go ahead and measure your size in centimeters and use the conversion calculator we have provided for your convenience.

International Shipping

We ship worldwide via the United States Postal Service using Priority Mail, Express Mail, or Global Express Mail at our discretion. The USPS offers some great international shipping rates that the others cannot touch. As of now, they have not raised their rates in spite of the high price of fuel.

Because international rates vary from country to country, we have come up with a fixed rate pricing system for shipping and handling charges for packages based on the number of items shipped. Packages over 15 lbs will be charged the initial shipping fee, with the overage being billed to you through PayPal. This will typically be the case with large, overweight saddle and sissy bar bags. The following rates are for one item shipped Priority Mail:

• Alaska, Hawaii - $35.00US
• Canada - $45.00US
• Overseas Shipping Rate - $75.00US

Our overseas shipping rate includes the UK, Europe, and the Pacific Basin – including Australia and New Zealand. Delivery time varies from country to country and can be anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks. We never ship Parcel Post and will always provide you with a tracking number so that you can track your package on the Internet.

Please take into consideration that we offer products from three different manufacturers, shipping from three different locations. For this reason, unless you want to pay extra for shipping, please limit your order to items manufactured by the same vendor. For example, if you order a Unik International leather jacket, a pair of gloves from Himalaya Motorbike Wear, and a leather dress by Elegant Moments Lingerie, your order will arrive in three different packages at three different times. You can certainly do this, and we will work with you to get the best possible shipping price, but be aware that it will not be the flat rate charge.

Please Note: The USPS delivers to the doorstep of the Customs Dept. of your country. After that, the package is delivered to your door step via your countries postal service. At times, packages seem to go missing, when in fact they are being held up at the destination countries customs. If your package seems to be delayed, please contact your local post office who can help track the progress from your end, or refer you to your Customs Dept.

Also note that some countries charge a duty, or extra tariff on imported goods. Biker Leather does not and cannot know the policies of every government it ships to. Please contact your local postal service for more information. We can in some cases, if requested, declare the parcel as a gift.
